com A California-based health services organization is currently seeking a licensed Physician Assistant (PA), with a Triage background, for a promising opportunity with their Urgent Care team.
In this role, the Triage Urgent Care Physician Assistant (PA) will be responsible for managing patient triage and aftercare needs.
Responsibilities:
The Triage Urgent Care Physician Assistant (PA) will:
Evaluate symptoms, prescribe medications, order labs and imaging, as needed; decide on appropriate courses of medical treatment for patients Ensure patients receive follow-up care after in-clinic, telemedicine or house call encounters Perform video Telemedicine consults, when appropriate Assist patients with hospital admissions and transfers, as needed Assist with patient care at the clinic, when needed Enter information into electronic health records Handle other duties, as needed
Qualifications:

years of relevant work experience Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree in a related field CA Physician Assistant (PA) license Triage background Proficient in Phlebotomy and Peripheral IV placement Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills Patient oriented Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail Highly organizedDesired Skills:
Experience in an Emergency Room, Surgical, and/or Urgent Care role/settingSalary:
$12.
