Copy Writer: Multiple Media-Retail

The copywriter is responsible for writing clear and persuasive, copy that motivates our target audiences to respond. This position is responsible for research, composition, editing, proofreading, and partnering with other departments and vendors as needed.
Duties & Job Responsibilities:
Transforms ideas into words with clear, persuasive copy for articles, press releases, websites, advertisements, publications, pamphlets, brochures, direct mail pieces and all identified marketing collateral and company presentations.
Use linguistic savvy to make products appealing to the potential customer.
Assist with creation of a cohesive review and proofreading process for all company collateral.
Researches, seeks all facts and develops content from the ground up interviewing key contacts and understanding the big picture.
Revise, edit, and proofread content as needed or directed.
Must work effectively within the marketing team.
Ensures that all the Company's written marketing materials are journalistically sound, grammatically correct and foundationally accurate.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept stage and kick-off meeting through proof review, ensuring completion within production deadlines.
Implement search engine optimization techniques.
Must maintain a professional demeanor, dedicated work ethic, positive attitude and articulate voice at all times.
Retail copywriting experience is required.
Must contribute to and function efficiently in collaborative, team environments.
Must be able to provide samples of editorial experience.
Experience with web development & HTML coding is a plus.
An understanding of the direct mail catalog business is a plus (limited copy space and creative with "action" oriented descriptions / headlines).

This is an in-house position based in Beverly Hills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
