The Opportunity:
Our Client is a top-ranked Real Estate Agent in Beverly Hills, CA. We are looking for a skilled Executive Real Estate Assistant to oversee the day-to-day flow of his business and support the continued growth of his company. This is high-end, high-volume office that serves many of L.A.'s elite Buyers and Sellers. This is a fast-paced, do-whatever-it-takes position and is definitely not a 9 - 5 job. However, a successful candidate will have substantial financial and professional growth opportunities and the potential to bring in business and work on deals.

What gets you the interview? A well formatted and proofread resume that shows you have at least two years of recent experience as an Executive Assistant to a C-level Executive or other top performer in their field. Job experience that highlights your organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn new technology quickly and with minimal guidance. Prior real estate experience is not required.
What has the potential to get you the job? A demonstrated ability to pay attention to each and every detail while also working quickly to process a high volume of work. Professional polish. This includes your personal appearance and style as well as your written and verbal communication skills. (This is not a business casual attire position.) Past performance demonstrating your drive to succeed by doing things right the first time, and on time (or early). The ability to create systems and processes where needed, but also follow tried and true methods that have been established. You bring value to the team. You are creative, innovative, and think outside the box. You also demonstrate a forward thinking, tech savvy attitude.

What You'll Do:
Build: You will play an integral part in continuing to build the business. You will improve, create, and implement systems for sellers, buyers, generating new leads, database management, and back office support. You will also assist in maintaining the Company's CRM system.
Listing and Transaction Support: This includes preparing your Agent for Listing Appointments, providing showing feedback to Sellers, attending inspections and Broker Opens. While there is someone who handles the transaction from contract to close, you will need to know how the process works.
Market: You will oversee all listing files and listing marketing (flyers, e-blasts, brochures, online marketing, etc) as well as work to enhance any websites, blogs, and social media that the team uses.
Serve: You will provide world class, concierge-level customer service to clients by serving as the first point of contact for any inquiries and for scheduling appointments with the lead agent. You will also follow-up with past clients in order to stay in touch and cultivate future business.
Support: In this role, you will provide Executive Assistant support to the lead Agent. Additionally, your Agent will count on you to keep them informed regarding challenges and issues that need to be handled but otherwise keep them free from distraction. You will manage the calendar and are in charge of making sure that it stays organized and that your Agent gets where he needs to go on time and with what he needs.
Own It: You are not here to simply earn a paycheck. You will play a significant role in the success of the business and will take on this responsibility with a sense of ownership, commitment, honesty, and integrity.

Who You Are:
Background and Education: Previous experience in real estate is a huge plus, but is not required. What is required is a proactive attitude, professional polish, executive assistant experience, and the ability to learn new information quickly. You are the kind of person, who when stepping into a new situation, has done research on the company, the industry and the people involved. You are smart, well spoken, and a great communicator. You have at least two years of higher education experience (Bachelor's Degree is preferred).
Tech-Savvy: You are comfortable with database management, CRM programs, Microsoft Office programs, and working with digital photography. You are a pro, or can become one quickly, when it comes to common real estate programs including MLS, ZipForms, Dotloop and Google Docs/Calendar.
SUPER Organized: In your world, systems rule and everything has its rightful place. You naturally create order out of chaos as you move through your day and you consistently follow the systems that are in place within the office.
Perfectionist - within reason: You like things done the right way. You operate with a high level of professionalism and present yourself as such. You also understand the importance of meeting deadlines and you are able to balance your perfectionist tendencies with the need to move projects along quickly.
Psychic - well, almost: You are always thinking five steps ahead, and are proactive in your approach. In past positions people have thought you could actually read their minds because you were able to anticipate what they needed before they asked for it.
100% Committed: You understand that real estate doesn't stop at 6pm and you are willing and able to respond to emails or phone calls outside of normal business hours. You don't wait for someone to set aside time to train you. You seek out resources to help you learn all facets of your position, and the rest of the team so that you can step in to help where needed.
Customer-focused: You know people. You know how to effectively communicate with people, are solution-oriented, and can Keep Calm and Carry On. You are great at empathizing with clients and are skilled at building quality relationships.

The Details:
What You Earn: You earn a competitive salary plus a bonus and incentives commensurate with experience (most likely in the $60K - $90K range) and a % referral bonus for client referrals that result in a closed sale.
Where: John Aaroe Group, Beverly Hills, CA
When: Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm. Some flexibility on nights and weekends required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
