The Human Resources Division is responsible for Citywide organizational development, labor and employee relations, recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, training and staff development, and employee recognition and engagement.
What We're Looking For The City of Beverly Hills is seeking an energetic and team-oriented Office Clerk to provide clerical support to the Human Resources Department.
This position will regularly assist with answering the telephone and helping visitors at the front counter; processing incoming and outgoing correspondence; and performing routine clerical duties, such as copying, printing, collating, filing, organizing, and stocking office supplies, and preparing/assembling kits, folders, binders, bags, etc.
This position may also assist with special projects of a clerical nature.
The ideal candidate for this position will thrive in a fast-paced environment and will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
This position works onsite and the anticipated schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately four (4) hours per day, for a total of 20 hours per week.

Supplemental Questionnaire Written Examination Oral Exam/Interview Conviction History As a finalist for a job, you will be fingerprinted, and your fingerprints will be sent to the California Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
The resulting report of your conviction history (if any) will be used to determine whether the nature of your conviction (or arrest, in limited circumstances) conflicts with the specific duties and responsibilities of the job for which you are a finalist.
Having a conviction history does not automatically preclude you from a job with the City.
If you are selected as a finalist, you will be contacted to schedule a fingerprinting appointment.

Disaster Service Workers:
All City of Beverly Hills employees are designated Disaster Service Workers through state and local law (California Government Code Section 3100-3109).

Employees are required to complete all Disaster Service Worker-related training as assigned, and to return to work as ordered in the event of an emergency.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
