He enjoys video games, anime, Japanese culture, looking at memes, arcades, going to the movies, working on his arts and building his 3D printing micro-enterprise.
Ideal candidate must have a driver's license, be in their 20s or 30s, be chill, has the same interests, is not critical or demeaning, and will go with the flow.
This is not an ideal job for someone that is very intense , judgmental, or controlling; he does not respond well to criticism.
He is passive and does not like to be rushed, or he will tends to get quiet and shut down.
He relates better to males.
No special needs experienced needed just some common sense.
He is set in his ways, you are not expected to do any sort of therapy or entertain him, at most offer suggestions for outings and keep him company.
Some days he just wants someone to go to the mall, have lunch and then he works on his art; other times he might want to see a movie (usually $5 Tuesdays), walk to a nearby sandwich shop and draw afterwards, stay at home and play video games, go to Little Tokyo, check out an arcade with billiards, or hit up a buffet.
BIG plus if you have a Universal Studios annual pass.
He likes to play Genshin Impact, you will need to install it on your phoneit's free.
Bonus if you have Ghost Rider.
He has is a good kid, no behavioral issues or bad habits.
We don't drink or smoke.
Live scan is required (we will reimburse).
You will be paid weekly in the form a paycheck or direct deposit through Cambrian FMS (financial management service).
At the moment I am looking for 2 daytime providers from 2 to 4 days during the week, perhaps the occasional weekend but he currently has 2 other provider with weekend availability, but without weekday day availability.
Shifts are usually 4-5 hours unless you are on a special outing like Universal Studios or a D&D event.
We are flexible, just ask that you be considerate of my son's time and try your best to refrain for constant last time call outs.
It has been an issue in the past.
Also we ask that you limit texting and personal calls.
We appreciate our providers and they enjoy their job of being a buddy.
