Your RoleAs the Vice President of Marketing & Communications, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and sharing our vision.
Working closely with the CEO, you'll lead a dedicated team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies and communication plans.
Your goal will be to attract applicants to our programs, amplify our stories, and establish our thought leadership in the industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership:
Align with the CEO to set vision and priorities.
Lead the Marketing & Communications team in crafting and executing comprehensive strategies.
Inclusive Recruitment Marketing:
Develop targeted campaigns to support our programs and attract diverse applicants, particularly from underrepresented communities.
Thought Leadership:
Enhance our position as thought leaders through content creation, media relations, and digital engagement.
Storytelling:
Share our impact and vision through compelling narratives across various channels, including press releases, annual reports, and digital content.
Media and Event Management:
Oversee our media strategy and lead the organization of impactful virtual and in-person events.
Startup Support:
Serve as a marketing consultant to our startups, helping them gain media attention and achieve success.

RequirementsA minimum of 12 years of experience in marketing, public relations, and communications, preferably in the non-profit, sustainability, or related sectors.

Comprehensive understanding of the media landscape, particularly in Los Angeles and California.
Passion for our mission and the ability to communicate our vision effectively.
Working With UsThis full-time role offers a competitive salary range of $138-160K, depending on your experience and qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
