Lead the accounting team with Corporate Accounting and Property Accounting responsibilities.
Be responsible for preparing monthly financial statements and reports on a portfolio of retail real estate properties for both internal and external clients.
Assist in building Strategy, Analysis and supporting direction with Management team.
As the Accounting lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations, providing strategic insights, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:
o Oversee all aspects of the company's financial operations, including general accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
o Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance.
o Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and analysis for management and stakeholders.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
o Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and optimize working capital.
o Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and manage external audits.
o Manage and mentor the accounting team to maintain a high level of performance and efficiency.
Qualifications:
o Minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
o o Proven leadership and team management abilities.
o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
o Proficiency in Yardi (or similar System) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Education:
o Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
