The responsibilities for the office assistant position include but are not limited to:
Answering incoming calls during office hours Maintains records of invoices, debits, and credits.
Create, review and approve invoices Create and apply vendor credit memos Process high volume of invoices Set-up recurring bills Set-up vendors on electronic payments Reconcile vendor statements, identify and resolve discrepancies Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date Identify and process miscellaneous accounts payable and accounting related documents Download banking activity credit card statements and code transactions Record payroll entries Record additional banking activity such as deposits, bank fees, etc.
Process payrolls Assisting the owner with personal tasks Education and Experience Bookkeeping experience Proficient in data entry and management Attention to detail and accuracy Organizing and prioritizing Ability to meet deadlines Problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills Confidentiality Information management skills Bill.
