We're currently seeking a highly skilled Dental Assistant to join our team and contribute to exceptional patient care.
Job Details Compensation:
$25 - $30 per hour Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 7am - 4pm Location:

PTO:
Earn one week of paid time off after one year of employment, two weeks after three years, and three weeks after five years.

As our Lead Dental Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:

Supervision and Training:
As a lead dental assistant, you may be responsible for supervising and training other dental assistants in the office.
This involves providing guidance, instruction, and support to ensure that all dental assistants are knowledgeable, competent, and following proper procedures.
Chairside Assistance:
You will provide chairside assistance to the dentist during dental procedures.
This includes passing instruments, preparing materials, taking impressions, managing suction, and ensuring the patient's comfort and safety.
Sterilization and Infection Control:
You will be responsible for maintaining strict infection control protocols in the dental office.
This involves sterilizing and disinfecting dental instruments and equipment, as well as ensuring compliance with infection control guidelines and regulations.
Patient Care and Education:
You will interact with patients, prepare them for dental treatments, and provide post-treatment instructions.
You may also assist with taking and developing dental X-rays, as well as educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
Appointment Scheduling and Records Management:
As a lead dental assistant, you may be responsible for managing the appointment schedule, coordinating patient flow, and maintaining accurate patient records.
This includes updating patient information, documenting treatment plans, and ensuring confidentiality of patient data.
Supply and Inventory Management:
You will be responsible for managing dental supplies and inventory, which includes ordering, restocking, and organizing dental materials, equipment, and instruments.
This helps ensure that the dental office has an adequate supply of necessary items.
Office Management Support:
In some dental offices, lead dental assistants may assist with administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, handling patient inquiries, billing, and insurance claim processing.
This helps ensure smooth operation and efficiency within the dental practice.
Continuing Education and Professional Development:
To stay updated with the latest advancements in dental procedures and techniques, a lead dental assistant may attend continuing education courses and participate in professional development activities.
This enables you to provide the highest quality of care and support to patients.
