Goldberg and part of the practice.
In this position, the medical assistant/ social media promoter will undertake the following responsibilities in a professional manner:
? Under the supervision of the doctor, you will assist in providing patient care (pre and post operative), and assist in any office procedures.
Handle all aspects of the patient's charting including:
ensuring all patient demographics, consents, waivers and releases are signed at each visit and prior to any surgery, uploading all documents into the patients respective electronic chart, ensuring any medical tests are received and cleared prior to surgery, this role is responsible for ordering medical/exam room supplies, keeping a running inventory of all of the room supplies, making sure the rooms are clean and tidy at all times, acting as a liason between the patients and the surgical coordinator, and that you are able to effectively communicate any medical issues or patient concerns to the physician in a timely manner.
Ordering any chemistry labs, cultures,and imaging studies necessary.
Following up on all tests or exams ordered and obtaining results for these studies for the doctor to review.
Manage all patient's preoperative and postoperative photos.
You will take before and after photos and upload them to our database.
Assistance with managing the practice's social media platforms.
This will include content creation and execution of posts to Instagram and Facebook, promotions and patient's reviews Manage all patient's medical records from the hospitals and in office EMR (electronic medical records) Ensure Preoperative pictures are ready for surgery ? Provide assistance in both front and back office tasks; checking patients in, collecting co-payments or procedure/treatment payments, and scheduling follow up appointments.
? Assist in the overall coordination of care our patients and the office.
Answering all patient calls, scheduling new and follow up appointments,and answering patient questions.
? Any other duties that may arise from time to time and may be assigned to the Employee.
