Perlmutter & Pourshalimi is looking to hire a full time assistant to handle administrative and legal tasks, including supporting the attorneys and paralegal as an assistant, handle case management and communications with clients.
Our office specializes in personal injury and elder abuse claims.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE IS NOT REQUIRED.
The ideal candidate will be a long-term fit that is looking for a home to grow.

Experience in drafting documents and managing case files is a big plus.

Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the attorneys and legal staff with all aspects of case management - Assist with incoming phone calls - Sending and receiving correspondences - Constant communication with clients from the beginning of their case to the end, including providing case status updates - Managing case files and keeping them organized - Assisting in managing each assigned matter, including reviewing medical records and medical recommendations, assisting with scheduling medical appointments, obtaining referrals for additional medical treatment, appointment reminders etc - Assisting in requesting medical records and liens - Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Skills:
Communication skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and maintain positive relationships.
Client management:
Ability to manage client expectations and ensure positive customer retention throughout the case.
Attention to details:
Ability to execute the intake process efficiently and accurately.
Problem-solving skills:
Ability to effectively handle client inquiries and resolve issues.
Time management:
Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Adaptability:
Ability to learn and adapt to new tools and resources provided by the firm.
Customer service orientation:
Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive client experience.
Multilingual:
Fluency in English, Spanish is a plus but not required Basic computer skills:
Basic knowledge of computer systems and proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, spreadsheets, and PDFs.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
